I like to think that I work tirelessly for my blog *cough* and so when I am offered the odd perk, especially those of the Hotel Chocolat variety, it’s fair to say that I don’t have to be asked twice!
Hotel Chocolat have a gorgeous range of Mother’s Day gifts to make sure that she can be well and truly spoilt on her day off on 18th March 2012. Of course, I don’t include myself in that day off bit, although the chance would be a fine thing if my Other Half happens to be reading *hint hint* but let’s face it, chocolate makes most things better. So if I can tuck into some Hotel Chocolat goodies in between breaking up fights and wiping bottoms, then that’s good enough for me!
I was sent the Sleekster All About Mum Selection and I promise that it was every bit as irresistable as it looks. As you would expect from Hotel Chocolat, the selection is just out of this world and there really is something for everyone, from Champagne Truffles to Buck’s Fizz hearts, Caramel Sweethearts to Mother of Pearl pralines, Cherry Bombes to Raspberry Raptures. And now I’m drooling again. I can’t possibly choose a favourite as I loved them all but I would say that the Bison Grass Vodka heart and Chilli Sweethearts were right up there. There is even two of each chocolate making sharing almost bearable. Well, as bearable as sharing chocolates can ever be of course. Or is that just me?
So if you are looking for that perfect Mother’s Day gift, I’d say you couldn’t go far wrong with this one. And better still, feel free to let Mum put her feet up and scoff the lot while you take over the chores. If you want of course *cough*

Oh my….they look delicious! Having seen them just before going to bed am now hoping for sweet dreams! We popped into a Hotel Chocolat store in Brighton last weekend as I’d been dying to try some salted caramels. I swear I could’ve bought the entire shop! xx
