IKEA are back again with their annual soft toy campaign and I am so happy to be able to support such a lovely cause.

For every soft toy and children’s book sold between October 21st and December 23rd 2012, the IKEA Foundation will donate €1 to UNICEF and Save the Children, to support worldwide education programs, ensuring more children around the world can go to school. This yearly campaign has so far raised a total of €47.4million since 2003 and has helped improve the lives of more than eight million vulnerable children.

We were very kindly sent this little fox family and beautiful hare who are woodland friends in the new VANDRING range. They aim to encourage children’s curiosity about nature and teach them to care about the environment. Prices start from just £1 so they make perfect stocking fillers for your little ones this Christmas but they will also allow you to make a personal contribution to this lovely campaign of course.

All IKEA UK and Ireland stores will participate in this fantastic campaign. The donation of €1 will be given for every soft toy bought, irrespective of the purchase price or how many are bought in one transaction.
