What I Wore Wednesday

It’s Wednesday…

…so it’s what I wore

Coat – Joe Browns, bell sleeved dress – Baukjen, black opaques – Wolford, Daria boots – LK Bennett, watch – Michael Kors, bracelets – Links of London

I love this coat. It’s from last year but I think Joe Browns still sell this but with a patterned print, not plain black anymore. It has quirky military style buttons and a high funnel neck but best of all is that it is adjustable so you can pull it right in at the waist making the full skirt of the coat even bigger. I hate it when coats feel like you’re compromising your outfit but this is one of those coats that makes me feel ‘dressed’ in itself. And it’s good for swishing. I love swishing.

This bell sleeved dress from Baukjen is from last year too and is currently in the sale for those of you looking for a bargain! I wear it to death and just love this gorgeous electric plum colour. This dress is just so easy to wear though. It is in a really lovely jersey material with a wrap top and wide tie belt. I love how you can style the belt and sleeves in different ways too making it really versatile. You can wear it as a long sleeved dress or as I have here, you can push the sleeves up to create the ‘bell’ draping. Baukjen do the best jersey dresses ever. Fact.

My LK Bennett Daria boots are making an appearance yet again. I won’t bore you to death by telling you just how much I love them. But I do really love them. This is their second winter and they are still as perfect as the day I bought them. See Mr Mostly, they were worth every single penny!

Today’s outfit has accidentally taken a bit of a theme of all being from last year. And all being things that I absolutely love. I think this might be one of my favourite everyday go to outfits in fact. Do you have old favourites that come out year after year?

As ever, I’m linking up with Transatlantic Blonde’s What I Wore Wednesday linky. Do pop over and see what everybody else is wearing this week – I know I will be!

I want to say “Urgh, I wish I could dress so well on my ‘days off’”, but I will hide my jealousy and say, “You thoroughly deserve your title of Yummy Mummy,” ;-)

That coat is AMAZING! I need a cute winter coat; I bought my Zara coat in DC after Obama’s 1st inauguration so that was 4 years ago now!
