Thanks to the lovely folks over at Bettys, Easter has arrived early at Mostly Towers! I was sent the most amazing milk chocolate Gloucester Old Spot Pig egg.
This Swiss milk chocolate egg is stippled with dark Grand Cru chocolate and hand decorated with a jolly white and dark chocolate Gloucester Old Spot pig, relaxing among spring flowers. It is an absolute beauty and almost too good to eat! Well, almost. Not only did it look amazing but the chocolate was exceptionally thick and the egg took quite some breaking in to! There is nothing quite like cracking into an Easter egg, is there? This egg was just amazing and it is also available in two sizes – the small egg is a very generous 15cm high and the medium is a whopping 20cm high.
Bettys have an amazing range of eggs this year made using the finest Swiss chocolate and as you would expect, they are all handmade to perfection. If you are looking for something a little different, there is a whole farmyard of adorable springtime chocolate animals to choose from and other treats too such as marzipan piggies or lebkuchen hens. And don’t get me started on the simnels and Easter cakes.. yummy!
The last order date for Easter deliveries in the UK mainland is 26th March. For more details and to take a look at the full range of goodies, please pop along to www.bettys.co.uk.

We live in Betty’s-I love how beautifully anachronistic it is in and also not only how delicious all the food is but how much they adore my kids! I grew up in Ilkley so have so many fond memories eating at Betty’s so it’s lovely to take my own children too!
I love Bettys too it just isn’t a trip to Ilkley without popping in
