Plastic Joy Award

I’ve been tagged by the lovely Emily at Babyrambles and the equally lovely Elaine Scott with the Plastic Joy Award. Two tags in as many days.. what do you people think of me..?! *ahem* Anyway, this requires me to list five fictional characters which I would, er, would like ‘relations with’ should I say. So here goes:

  1. Daddy Pig, yes, of the Peppa Pig fame.. Bit of a strange one but I know I’m not alone in my love of the comedy genius and much picked on Daddy Pig and let’s not forget his lovely piggy voice… hellooooo!  Being forced to watch hours of the darned programme makes me have to find some joy in it and he has definitely become my number one plastic crush! My good Twitter pal Susan and I have a whole conspiracy theory on Daddy Pig being stalked by Miss Rabbit, with him being such an old fox and all, but I sense that would be a whole post in itself ; )
  2. Jake Sully from Avatar. I took my eldest two to watch this film and I ended up loving it more than them! The humanised jarhead Jake didn’t do a thing for me but as his Avatar, oh yes! Paint me blue and send me to Pandora, he was beautiful in his Avatar form : )
  3. General Maximus from Gladiator. I have to say first off that I am not a big fan of Mr Crowe but I do love the character of Maximus. Big manly man in a nice pair of sandals and a skirt, definitely does it for me ; )
  4.  Will Schuester from Glee. It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Glee and although Will wouldn’t be my type usually for his looks, I definitely have a huge plastic crush on sweet Will (and this was definitely cemented by the wedding dance episode!)
  5. Saul Maundy from Love Rules by Freya North. I’m a bit of a chick lit gal and I manage to fall in love with most of Freya North’s leading menfolk but Saul in particular because I think the heroine of the book didn’t give him the happy ending that I would have. It’s not a new book, but definitely worth a read if you haven’t already, see if he melts your heart too ; )

So there we have it. It was actually harder than I thought it would be to compile my list with it being fictional characters rather than just gorgeously good-looking famous people (because, let’s face it – that *would* be easy!)

I now tag Rosie Scribble, Laura from Are We Nearly There Yet Mummy and Claire at Cheshire Mum – enjoy ; D x

Daddy Pig???? Don’t get me wrong I try and find joy in it too, but he’s just so, well, pig like really. Also he’s bloody useless at diy – did you see the one where he tried to put up a picture? still it’s not his picture hanging skills you’re interested in, sicko! (joking of course).
