Bayard Magazines up for review!

I was sent some Bayard magazines to review with my children and I have to say that I was really impressed. We were sent a book from each of the ranges – Adventure Box (aimed at 3-6 year olds) Story Box (aimed at 6-9 year olds) and Discovery Box (aimed at 9-12 year olds)

First of all I have to say that forget about those horrid children’s magazines you get pestered for in the supermarket with the plastic toys sellotaped to the front – Bayard magazines are in a whole different league for so many reasons! The magazines are simply beautiful and they are incredibly high quality and therefore offer really good value for money.

I love that the books are set out for different age ranges and have to say that I thought they were spot on. I loved the stories and the illustrations and that they were more than just a book – there were quizzes, games, poems, facts, competitions.. So much to keep their attention and anything that encourages a thirst for learning and reading can only be a good thing. I’m sure we all agree that learning doesn’t stop at the school gate and I love that these books are so educational but first and foremost, fun and ever so engaging. I love being able to share the Adventure Box and Story Box with my younger children. And I love that I find my older children engrossed in the Discovery Box book after lights out!

The magazines are available by subscription from just £39.00 for a 12 months period (10 issues) and given the quality and just how much there is in each magazine, I do think this represents really good value.
