Emma Levine Kids and Baby up for review

I was sent some beautiful new clothes for the girls from Emma Levine Kids & Baby to review.

Emma Levine Kids & Baby are a new girlswear company based in Surrey who offer a mix of clothes that are fun and girlie, with a whimsical twist and a hint of vintage. The first season was Spring/Summer 2011, and the Autumn/Winter 2011 range is about to launch in John Lewis Oxford Street and Peter Jones. They also stock in a selection boutiques all over the UK and even some abroad. There are ranges for baby girls in ages 0-24 months and for girls in ages 2-9 years.

When I first took a look at the website, the first thing that struck me was just how beautifully wearable the clothes were. I love the pretty styles and the detailing. There is definitely a vintage feel to many of the designs and love my girls to be dressed in a more traditional style and these clothes I felt, offered just this.

We were sent the Slumber Party T which was inspired by a vintage pillow design with the pretty ribbon work and embroidered flower design. It has super cute frills on the short sleeves which I loved. The quality of the fabric really is exceptional and it fitted perfectly. It even comes with its own wash care bag to ensure that it survives the washing machine.

This top is priced at £27.00.

The Kiss Me Quick T is navy and it has the sweetest love bird print. I also loved the spotty detail around the pocket and it is these small details that make this jersey top really stand out for me. It has long sleeves and will be gorgeous teamed with jeans. The material is super soft too making it really comfortable.

This top is priced at £20.00.

The Mouse Trap Dress is made in one of the Emma Levine signature prints with gorgeous little navy mice and sweet pink hearts. It is a cotton twill day dress and has a drawstring tie at the waist and keyhole neck at the back of the neck. I love the trim around the hem and pretty neckline on this dress. It is such a lovely everyday dress.

This dress is priced at £35.00.

Whilst the price tags may not be cheap, I do believe that when it comes to children’s clothes, you do get what you pay for and the outstanding quality of these clothes makes them worth every single penny. I loved the attention to detail and the quality of the materials. I especially loved that the clothes were pretty but still completely practical. A huge thumbs up from me – and my girls!

Do pop over to emmalevine.net to take a look at the gorgeous new collection for yourself.

*For the purpose of this review I was very kindly sent the clothes shown in the photos for free but all opinions expressed are of course my own. As are the amazingly beautiful models. Mine all mine!
