For the love of Pinterest

It’s no secret that I love Pinterest (in fact I’ve already told you just how much I love it here and here) At one point, I have to confess that I had to delete the app from my iPad before my Other Half staged some sort of intervention as I just couldn’t stop pin pin pinning! But I seem to have found myself back on there more and more of late (don’t tell me Other Half, okay?) and it is once again most definitely my happy place *dreamy sigh*

All of the clothes that I am never going to wear….

The beautiful homes that I am never going to live in….

All of the scrummy food that I am never going to make….

The amazing wedding that I am never going to have….

You get the idea….

For those of you not in the know (where have you been?!?!) Pinterestย is basically an online pinboard where you can โ€˜pinโ€™ your favourite images from the internet on to your own ‘pinboards’. You can see other people’s pins and like or repin them. And of course, they can like and repin yours too. It is great for inspiration and mood boards and well, in a nutshell is just blooming lovely!

If you would like an invite if you are not on there already, please leave me a message here in the comments and I will send you one. Just don’t blame me when you get addicted to it like I have!

Oh, and if you are on there already, please let me know what your user name is so I can have a nosey at your pins and make sure that I’m following you!

I think I need to keep resisting Pintrest… I have a question though. How come you can post the images on your blog? Does the fact that an image appears on Pintrest mean that the owner has released the copyright? If so then it would be worth joining as a way of finding good, free images.

Have you just got the app? It’s just that you will need an account to actually do anything with it. If you need me to send an invite just shout. Plus, when I first started I actually found that I ‘got it’ much easier by setting in up online on the actual Pinterest site. For me at least it was much easier that way.

I adore Pinterest and have to limit my time on there or else the entire evening’s gone before I realise. I’ve found some fantastic inspiration for cooking, photography and all sorts but also love pinning those ‘in my dreams’ images too ๐Ÿ™‚

Ahhhhh Pinterest…you and I are clones honey – you’ve pinned all my fave pics on there – I waste WAY too much time on the internet as it is, but when I have a spare 5 mins, (well…more like 5 hours), I too love to drift off into a fantasy land of loveliness that is Pinterest…then tweet about it, Facebook it, Instagram it, Blog it, text it, email it….I lie, I don’t do all that, just illustrating how much I spend on the damn computer! Anyway, lets meet up at the Spirit of Christmas Fair? Fancy doing that? x
