What I Wore Wednesday

Okay, so for those of you not in the know, the super lovely Blondie over at Transatlantic Blonde has come up with the idea of a fab new linky called What I Wore Wednesday. The basic idea is that you share any outfit from that week and then join in with the linky over on her blog. Simples!

So here I am…

Bell sleeved electric plum dress – Isabella Oliver 365

Matt opaque black tights – Wolford

Darla black patent boots – LK Bennett

Sweetie bracelet – Links of London

I get bored to tears of wearing jeans day in day out but chasing after children means that I have to be a really practical dresser but I hope I manage comfort and style!

I bought this dress the other week from Isabella Oliver 365 as they had a special offer of a massive 36.5% off jersey dresses. It would have been rude not to with a saving like that! I’m sure my Other Half was impressed by my frugality. He just hid it very well *cough* But I digress, I love this dress. It is super comfy and I think flattering so no doubt I will be living in it for the coming months. I’m wearing it with matt black opaque tights but I love that I could wear it with leggings too.

These boots took some hunting as you may remember from this blog post here but I still maintain that they are The One Thing that I had to have this season and my love for them has not waned. Black patent gorgeousness and super practical flat heels. Perfect every day boots and well worth the hunting and the hefty price tag!

So that was me, I hope you will join in too! Click on the badge below to take a look at the other entries over at Transatlantic Blonde this week πŸ™‚

I wouldn’t dare to show myself on any day of the week, unless it was for a blog post entitled “why i pretend i’m going to the gym every day so i can wear my trackies”.
    you look lovely tho
