….imPRESS Press-On Manicure by Broadway

I have tried a few sets of these imPRESS nails now and I have to say that I’m seriously impressed. Geddit? Ha!

I’ve tried so many press-on nails before but these have been the best by far. You get a 24 nails in each set so there is a good selection of different sizes. I also find them to be a really good length on me too and don’t have to file them down which is a bonus. (They can be filed if you need to though) I tend to select the nails first and lay them out in size order as it makes it so much quicker. But best of all is just how easy they are to apply. You simply remove the tab from the back, stick on applying a little pressure et voila! No messy glue to stick your fingers together or to splodge out of the sides, in fact no mess at all. When I tried them the first time I was a little sceptical I have to say. They stick on with such ease that I thought that they would be pinging off within the day but I haven’t found that to be the case at all. Obviously bear in mind that I am chief cook, cleaner, children herder and typer of lots of words every day so my hands work really hard. And these nails can more than handle it.

The set in the photos were put on at the weekend and I haven’t had so much as a chip let alone a pinging off yet. On the packaging it says that if applied properly, they should last for a week but the last set I wore actually lasted nearer to ten days which is seriously impressive. I only took them off because I was sick of the colour. (This is me we are talking about!) I should add as well that they are really easy to remove which was surprising considering how well they stay on. No, I can’t quite work that out either. But because there is no harsh nail glue, it is of course completely safe for your natural nails.

I think I paid about £8.99 in Boots for mine which I know is quite pricey for DIY nails but honestly, I do think that they are worth that extra few quid. So easy and quick to apply, no damage to your own nails and they come in a HUGE range of gorgeous colours and patterns. A perfect manicure for over a week? Yes please!

Disclosure: I have not been asked or paid to write this post. I bought these nails with the Mr’s hard earned cash but that can be our little secret. I just love them so much that I thought you might too. Writing a disclosure when I have nothing to disclose feels slightly on the side of bonkers but there you go. We are living in quite bonkers blogging times, what can I say.

Lovely! Ive just bought a set & i’ll be putting them on later. You are right, there are loads of designs – i went for a pink base with a lacey type design on top (matches a top i’m planning on wearing over the weekend!)
Did they survive hair washes etc ok?
