Happy Valentine’s Day from Hotel Chocolat

Ahh Valentine’s Day. Any excuse for a bit of romance and to treat your loved one I say, especially when it comes in the form of Hotel Chocolat shaped gorgeousness…

I was sent The Affection Collection and it was every bit as amazing as it looks. It came beautifully packaged in a peacock feather embossed white box. Inside there is everything from soft cream truffles with champagne, fruity cherry and zesty lemon, to meltingly smooth praline and mellow chocolate mousse. My personal favourite had to be the Kir Royal. Closely followed by the Gianduja Bomb. Oh and not forgetting the Champagne Bellini. And the Caramel Praline of course. Let’s be honest, Mr Mostly was lucky to get a look in they were that good. With 19 scrumptious chocolates and priced at £25.00, I think it would make the perfectly luxurious gift this Valentine’s Day.

I am a huge fan of Hotel Chocolat (as you probably already know if you are a regular reader) but they really have pulled out the stops this Valentine’s Day. There is a huge range of gifts available this year starting from the really sweet little Passion Meringue Pie for just £1.95, right up to the amazing Signature Collections that come with chocolate and wine or Prosecco for £50.00. There really is something for everyone and every budget and as ever, Hotel Chocolat offer guaranteed next day delivery to the UK mainland. You can see the full collection here.

Disclaimer: For the purpose of this review I was very kindly sent The Affection Collection from Hotel Chocolat to try. I take my promise to blog with integrity very seriously so of course, this meant me trying out  e v e r y  s i n g l e  o n e  of the amazing flavours. It was hard work but hey, somebody has to do it. All opinions (and extra inches added to my hips) are my own.

Mmmm nice! Too tempting from my Slimming World plan but I suppose Valentines Day only comes once a year!
