What I Wore Wednesday

It’s Wednesday..

..so it’s what I wore

013

Black dress – Hobbs, black opaques – Wolford, Daria boots – LK Bennett, watch – Michael Kors, Sweetie bracelet – Links of London, Sweetie Candy Hearts bracelet – Links of London, pearl bracelet and earrings – Eyre

I bought this wool dress from Hobbs forever ago and it’s definitely one of my go to dresses. The photo doesn’t quite do justice to the detail I’m afraid. Taking photos of black dresses is impossible let alone when it is with your iPhone in a mirror. Where is my photographer when I need one? Anyway, you’ll have to take my word for it. It might just be a boring old black dress but it actually has really pretty puff sleeves, a big bow to the neckline and a nipped in waist. I love it. The boots are my beloved LK Bennett Daria boots of course and I’m wearing them while I still can before Spring has really sprung. As much as I can’t wait for the warmer Spring days to arrive, a part of me is starting to think about what on earth am I going to wear when I can’t hide behind thick opaques and boots? Hmmm answers on a postcard (or better still in the comment box) please.

Sometimes only black will do and this all looks lovely, what a gorgeous dress 🙂 As for the opaques and boots thing don’t get me started, I had a mild panic yesterday when the sun was shining and temperatures were rising. My legs, not to mention the rest of me, are not spring ready! And yet I’m desperate for spring to, erm, spring, so think it might be time for a workout DVD *faints a bit at the thought*

I love your Wednesday posts and you do always look stylish. Hope you dont mind if I “borrow” your ideas from time to time. I seem to have worn skinnies and boots all winter. Im going to have to invest in some Fake Tan I think if things do get warmer or just swap boots for flats.
