Harumika Pop Diva up for review

Harumika is an award winning, unique, fun and easy to use toy that combines art and craft as well as fashion. We were sent the Pop Diva set to review and my daughter absolutely loved it!

The simple design technique is easy to pick up and provides quite literally hours of creative fun. Young designers can create their own line of bespoke couture designs without the need for any needles, thread, glue or scissors. It works by layering, folding and customising fabrics and accents using the silicon strip at the back of the dress form. All materials and accessories are reusable so the possibilities are endless. If you don’t like your design, you can just start all over again.

This set comes with one purple dress form and two removable corsets so you can design different shaped skirts and dresses. The corsets click on the dress form really easily and you are ready to go. There is a great selection of funky fabrics and little sparkly accessories – everything you could ever need to make cool outfits fit for a pop diva! You can also upload and share designs on the Harumika website too where you can create virtual outfits and take part in fashion contests.

This toy is recommended for age 6+ and I would say that is a good guide. My daughter who turns 7 in a couple of days absolutely loves it and has hardly put it down since it arrived so this gets a HUGE thumbs up from us!

Harumika is available from Argos, Hobbycraft, Entertainer, John Lewis, Smyths, Tesco, Toymaster, Toys R Us and other good toy stores. This Pop Diva set will be available from July 2013 and will be priced at £34.99. For more Harumika fun, go to www.bandai.co.uk
