The lovely people over at Marks and Spencer challenged me to take one of their new AW13 dresses, and style it three ways. Having seen their new range, I jumped at the chance!
I chose this gorgeous Limited Edition Sheer Panel Shift dress. Never one to shy away from colour, I was instantly attracted to the bright red tomato colour and it certainly didn’t disappoint when it arrived. The dress is fitted with a zip fastening to the back and has a pretty sheer panel that runs along the collar line and also down the sleeves. I love wearing dresses mainly because they are so versatile so I knew that I would have fun styling this three ways!
Right, outfit number one. A coffee date with my favourite bearded man and what better excuse to wear my new dress? I wore it here with my black Primark biker jacket, Wolford black opaques and my Ash Jalouse Spiral ankle boots. I think this might be my favourite of the three looks.
Outfit number two. It was a here there and everywhere kind of day with children to be deposited at school and errands to be run. I wore the dress with black Topshop leggings, black patent boots from LK Bennett, my X by Trollbeads bracelet and a Lulu Guinness handbag from the olden days when I could afford to indulge my handbag habit.
Outfit number three. A Saturday of food shopping, ferrying around of children with much more exciting social lives than me and a trip to the park thrown in for good measure. Here I wore the dress as a tunic with indigo skinny jeans from Marks and Spencer, a feather print scarf also from Marks and Spencer and jewelled ballet flats from Next.
From dressed up, to dressed right down and somewhere in between, I absolutely loved this dress. I loved how it fitted and best of all I loved just how versatile it was. So, how did I do? Did I meet the one dress three ways challenge?
