..so it’s what I wore
Bell sleeved jersey dress in electric plum – Baukjen, black opaques – M&S, bracelet – c/o X by Trollbeads, bespoke brogues – Upper Street, nails – Chanel Le Vernis in Pirate
I love jersey dresses because they are just so easy to wear and I particularly love this one from Baukjen from last year. The electric plum colour is gorgeous and I don’t think the photo quite does it justice to be honest. But the fit of the dress itself is just perfect for every day. The lovely bell sleeves can be pushed right up or right down making it really versatile and today I have worn it at a three quarter length. I love how drapey the top is with pleats to the shoulders then a loose faux wrap top with a fitted skirt and a wide belt that I’ve tied to the side. Slouchy comfy gorgeousness. Perfect.
My lovely bespoke brogues from Upper Street are making an appearance today. The colours match my dress perfectly. In fact when I designed them last year, it was very much with my many autumnal berry coloured dresses in mind. If you haven’t heard of Upper Street before then do take a look! I was lucky enough to review their amazing shoes a couple of years ago and I’ve been obsessed with them ever since. Every shoe lovers dream seriously!
