What I Wore Wednesday

It’s Wednesday..

..so it’s what I wore

Mulberry Cuff What I Wore Wednesday (Mostly) Yummy Mummy

Black cardigan – Gap, black floral dress – George at Asda, black opaque tights – M&S, watch – Michael Kors, leather cuff – Mulberry, nails – Chanel Le Vernis in Rouge Noir

It’s half term for us this week and it is so lovely to have a full nest. It has felt like a very long eight weeks since all of my brood went back to school and I have been counting down the days to this holiday. Lurgy season is in full swing and we are all exhausted. I love having them all at home of course but this week off feels much needed and I purposely haven’t made many plans. Hoorah to a  proper lazy week at home!

I bought this dress forever ago and found it when having my winter wardrobe sort out. It was set to go into the charity pile because the dress has a v-neck that is way too low but actually it works with a little cardigan on top. It’s so nice to rescue something and give it a new lease of life, don’t you think? Other than the now disguised v-neck problem, it’s a pretty little dress. I like the floral pattern and the floaty chiffon style material. I’ve worn it today with my gorgeous Mulberry cuff. It has a double leather strap and a little apple charm. So sweet.

So that was a rather mumsy me! What have you been wearing this week? Be sure to pop over to Transatlantic Blonde to see the rest of this weeks entries, I know I will be!

love-mostly

So cute! The cardigan saves the low-cut issue nicely. Isn’t it lovely to rescue something from the charity pile? Sometimes, I put things in the charity pile, pull them out later, and feel guilty for ever thinking it was donate worthy. I couldn’t link up at Transatlantic this week because I didn’t see the new post. Until next time…
