..so it’s what I wore
Black lace dress – La Redoute, black opaques – Wolford, black Jalouse Spiral ankle boots – Ash, watch – Michael Kors, Sweetie Candy Hearts and Sweetie charm bracelets – Links of London, nails – Razzle Dazzle by Deborah Lippmann
Monday morning. And not just any Monday morning but the first frost of the season and a back to school kind of Monday morning. Ugh. So what better way to cheer myself up than pulling out my favourite dress and full on sparkly nails. Oh, and a sneaky coffee with my favourite bearded man!
I absolutely adore this dress and it has already been pegged in my mind as My Christmas Day Dress. Surely the biggest compliment that you can ever pay a dress? And yes, I do think that far ahead! It is such a simple little dress and the pictures probably don’t quite do it justice but the lace detail is just beautiful and it is such a lovely fit. The lace is super soft unlike so many other itchy boxy numbers that I have tried on. It has little short lace sleeves, a perfectly nipped in waist and a lovely swishy skirt.
This Deborah Lippmann nail varnish is probably a couple of years old now in fact I am sure it came in a Glossybox? Anyway it is still very much a huge favourite and I hope when the time comes to replace it that they still make a similar deep burgundy colour. It takes a good three coats to get a really deep glittery finish which is normally beyond my patience levels to be honest but this is so worth it.
So that was me, beating the Monday blues. What have you been wearing this week? I’ll be linking up with What I Wore Wednesday over at Transatlantic Blonde so hopefully I’ll see you over there!
