I have been sent the new Slendertone Abs to review and over the coming weeks, I will be putting it to the test and reporting back here on the blog. Slendertone Abs promises to tone the muscles and firm the abs. It offers a complete workout for the ab muscles and 100% of users have reported a more toned and firmed tummy in just four weeks. So you can see why I can’t wait to get started!
So in the box we have everything that you need to get started. The controller, battery charger, adhesive pads, storage bag and of course the belt itself. There’s a full instruction manual and also for those of you that are as impatient as me, a very handy quick start guide.
First of all the battery needs to be charged which can take up to three hours for the first charge. It’s really easy to set up the belt, you simply position the adhesive pads making sure that you fully cover the metal studs. It’s worth noting that there are different positions for men or women and also a small, medium or large setting, so it is suitable for most shapes and sizes. You peel off the covers from the sticky pads but these need to be kept as you replace them when the belt is not in use. You simply position the belt on your tummy using the velcro tabs and switch it on using the fully charged controller and off you go. You can increase the intensity to a comfortable level for you but obviously the idea is that over time, this will gradually get higher.
This electronic muscle simulator is the only belt to be able to exercise all of your abdominal muscles to tone your stomach and is clinically proven to tone and firm your abs in just four weeks. It is recommended that you use it five times a week to see the best results so I’m going to be doing just that. I plan to report back in a couple of weeks to let you know how I’m getting on and of course I will write a full review at the end of the four week trial.
