Hush Puppies up for review

I am very much of the school of thought that a girl can never have too many boots so of course when the lovely folk over at Hush Puppies got in touch asking me if I would like to review a pair of new boots, I didn’t have to think twice.

Hush Puppies Farland dark brown boots

I chose this pair of Farland boots in brown and not only do they look gorgeous, but they are in fact part of the brand new Weather Smart collection which are waterproof so I couldn’t wait to put them to the test. I think the weather gods must have heard about their arrival too because boy oh boy have I been able to put them through their paces in the awful weather that we’ve been having over the last few weeks!

The boots are knee high in the softest brown leather and suede and I love the buckle details to the ankle and the top. To look at, you would never guess that they were waterproof they just look like gorgeous boots. I think that’s why I love them so much! So often you have to make a choice of being stylish or practical but that just isn’t the case here.

The boots have a practical low heel and good non-slip rubber sole so are perfect stomping around every day boots. I like that they are really versatile too and look fab with jeans or tights. Best of all though, they are ridiculously comfortable. The inside of the boot is lined with a pretty herringbone material which feels nice and padded and they have a cushioned footbed. They are a perfect fit too with a zip fastening and also an elasticated vent to the top. This Farland style is also available in black as well as the dark brown and priced at just £120, I do think that they are exceptionally good value. You are getting an awful lot of boot for your money here!

Hush Puppies new Weather Smart collection combines style and performance. There is nothing chic about having soggy feet lets face it! This new range is available now in Hush Puppies stores and at www.hushpuppies.com featuring both tall and ankle boots all combining full grain weatherproof leather and suede.
