Secret Linen Store up for review

I need to let you into a little secret that is the Secret Linen Store. Oh my godfathers I’m in love! I have to say that I’m a bit obsessed with making my bed my perfect sanctuary after years and years of sleep deprivation at the hands of my children then an awful bout of insomnia last year. And of course finding the perfect bedding is tantamount to creating my perfect nest. So when the lovely people over at Secret Linen Store got in touch asking if I would like to choose a bed linen set to review, I jumped at the chance. Ahh fresh new sheets. Surely there is no simple pleasure quite like it.

First of all I have to say that I was spoilt for choice. Secret Linen Store design everything themselves so you won’t find anything else like it on the high street. They only use cotton yarns but offer a whole range of plain, patterned and jacquard woven designs in a choice of finishes so whether you like that feeling of smooth or cool crisp sheets, there really is something for everyone. You can see why I spent forever trying to choose! But choose I did and I went for this cool crisp white Cotton Cord set with pretty Oxford pillowcases to match.

The quality is outstanding. Small details can make such a huge detail and I love the button fastenings on the duvet and the size label woven inside means that my linen cupboard has never felt so organised. The beautiful crisp linen is perfectly complimented by the thick cord border on the duvet and matching Oxford pillowcases. Now the best thing about the pillowcases is that the opening is hidden in the middle at the back. No more flappy corners or pillows creeping out – genius! I love that the classic design of this set looks great by itself but it will be perfect to mix and match with my other bedspreads and cushions too. The king size duvet I was sent is priced at just £40 and the Oxford pillowcases start at £9 and are available in different sizes. Secret Linen Store also sent me these gorgeous Costal Stripe cushion covers in dove grey which are just lovely. They are made out of woven cotton with a fringed edge opening and are super soft. As well as linen sets they also sell lots of gorgeous cushion covers and bedspreads.

I was seriously impressed by Secret Linen Store. They clearly love what they do and this shines through in both the beautiful linens and amazing service. From the lovely website to the beautifully packaging that my parcel arrived in, from the choice of beautiful designs to the outstanding quality. And being an online store means that they are able to offer exceptional value for money for what is a truly luxurious product. They even offer a free sample service if you need help deciding so you can see the fabrics for yourself which is such a good idea plus free delivery and returns in the UK.

Disclaimer: For the purpose of this review I was very kindly sent a bed linen set from Secret Linen Store including a king duvet cover and pillowcases plus the cushion covers shown. All opinions here are of course my own. As is the good nights sleep.

This is a great review, I’ve been wanting some new sheets for a while but wasn’t good quality without having to pay over the odds. Will be ordering in the near future
