..so it’s what I wore
Grey cape – M&S, breton long sleeved tee – Boden, high waisted skinny jeans – Next, tan brogues – Office, skull friendship bracelet – Links of London, watch – Michael Kors, nails – Cocktail Dress by Ciate
The weather is still quite mild here for September it’s definitely not big coat weather yet anyway but this cape from Marks and Spencer is perfect for the school run on chillier mornings. I’ve had this cape for years and years and YEARS and it’s one of those things that I don’t wear very often but I’m always pleased to dig it out every year. To be fair, there is probably only a very small window when you can get away with just wearing a cape before it’s time for a proper coat. It’s great for layering though and I like that it’s slightly longer than hip length so it’s easy to throw on over anything and everything. It’s quite hard to take a photo of with it being a dark grey colour but I hope you get the idea. It has buttons to the front and it’s made from the softest merino. A hug in a cape.
Underneath the cape I’m wearing my mummy uniform of stripes and skinnies. I have so many Breton tops it is verging on an obsession but I would argue that no two are quite the same. This long sleeved one from Boden is definitely one of my favourites I love it. The skinny jeans are from Next and I love the shape the high waist gives. The denim too is like a brushed texture which I really like. The brogues are making another appearance this week and although I’m not entirely sure if they are really me, there’s no denying that nothing screams autumn quite like tan brogues though!
So that was me, what have you been wearing this week?
