Habitat Birchbox up for review

This March, Birchbox have teamed up with Habitat and I was lucky enough to be given a sneak peek of this months jam packed box. This month sees Habitat announce their new range of dressing tables and beauty storage boxes and they have chosen to partner with Birchbox to celebrate this all important launch this spring. There is even a special discount code for all subscribers to get 20% off the new collection in store or online.

So what’s in the box I hear you cry? Well, it’s another absolute cracker with not one but two lifestyle extras. There is an exclusive notebook which is small but perfectly formed. Perfect for popping in your handbag for jotting notes on the go. I never go anywhere without a notebook! Plus there is a teaser chapter sample for Penny Vincenzi’s new book called A Perfect Heritage. This is such a great way to sample a book before buying it yourself.

Next we have the beauty products and boy oh boy are you in for a treat this month. I absolutely love Philp Kingsley products or more to the point, my hair absolutely loves Philip Kingsley products! This Smooth Cream tames frizz and flyaways while boosting shine. You just add a small amount to the mid-lengths and end of your hair a little bit goes a long way. Next we have a sample of Catherine Malandrino Style de Paris perfume. With citrus top notes and a fruity twist this is a playful yet sophisticated fragrance. Obviously perfume is a very personal thing but I loved this and it’s great to test out new scents.

The Tan Organic self tanning oil I suspect will be stolen by my teenager before I get the chance to try it out but it promises to moisturise the skin while creating a natural looking glow with the worlds first tanning oil. Next we have the Janjira Pomegranate and Acai Facial Scrub Cleanser which smells good enough to eat! Although that is definitely not recommended of course! Ha! You simply massage into damp skin and rinse away with warm water while the fruit extracts and vitamin E gently cleanse and brighten the complexion. Now last but by no means least we have the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. I’m not going to lie to you, I actually squealed with delight when I opened up my Birchbox to find this inside I have been dying to try it! I’m a bit of a Goldilocks when it comes to mascara but this certainly did not disappoint. It visibly lifts your lashes and gives a long lasting curl. Even better it is a very generous sample size!

I adore Birchbox it is such a lovely treat every month. I love getting to try out new to me products but it’s lovely when a brand you already love pops up too. The best of both worlds. Plus I love that there is always a great mix of lifestyle, beauty and make-up goodies. Birchbox is a subscription service so for just Β£10 plus Β£2.95 p&p, you get a box full of goodies through your letterbox each month.
