Birchbox #BeautyJunkie up for review

Love it or loathe it, there is no escaping the impact that emojis have had on how we express ourselves in our everyday communication 😛 And so the emoji obsessed Birchbox team has come up with their very own emojis this month as they celebrate their #BeautyJunkie theme this August 😀

This months Birchbox is filled to the brim with the latest beauty treats and not one but two make-up samples. First up we have Lord & Berry Blush in Lotus which gives a lovely natural rosy cheek. The Huygens Exfoliating Cream is a Birchbox Exclusive and this isn’t a brand that I have tried before. It’s a lovely creamy scrub that uses rice particles to smooth and purify without irritation. Next we have the extra beauty bonus of the Illamasqua Hydra Veil. This is used before your usual foundation to rehydrate and smooth you skin.

The Kebelo Clarifying Shampoo is a really generous sample size. This is meant to be used just once or twice a month when product build up and styling stress have left your hair looking dull. Next we have The Balm Cosmetics Balm Desert Bronzer for a lovely natural glow. And last but by no means least we have the Rituals Ayurveda Scrub. I love Rituals but have never tried this scrub before but it is amazing. It left my skin feeling lovely and smooth and it smells heavenly.

I’m sure there is a bit of a beauty junkie in all of us. Some more than others maybe but I am an out and out beauty junkie myself which is why I love Birchbox so much 🙂 This months box comes with a set of stickers and Birchbox want to know which emojis best describe your beauty regime 😀 Share a picture of your personalised Birchbox on Facebook or Instagram using #BirchboxBeautyJunkie and you could be in with a chance to win beauty vlogger Amelia Liana‘s haul from the Birchbox shop!

I love trying out new beauty products and I loved that this month, they were all products that I have never used before but from some of my favourite brands. And of course an extra beauty bonus never goes amiss – this months Birchbox really is jam packed. You can see for yourself that the value of the products is way more than the subscription fee of just £10 a month and it really is such a lovely treat. Birchbox delivery day is fast becoming my favourite day of the month! Have you signed up yet?

Disclaimer: For the purpose of this review I was kindly sent a press sample of this months Birchbox but I would never endorse a product that I didn’t truly love and I am in fact a subscriber myself I love it that much. I truly am a beauty junkie, what can I say? 😉
