..so it’s what I wore
Quilted diamond print jacket – Fat Face, white linen tee – H&M, 1969 legging jeans – Gap, Sweetie hearts bracelet – Links of London, watch – Michael Kors, Hotel Bustle shoes – Clarks (c/o Shoetique)
My little ones went back to school on Monday, my big ones go back today. And it’s like the weather knows! There really is a September nip in the air. I swear what little tan I had faded literally overnight. Just like that, summer is over and the skinny jeans are back on. But it’s not all bad of course. These skinnies from Gap are my most favourite yet. They are rather off-puttingly called ‘legging’ jeans but I promise you that they are definitely a jean not a legging and amazing ones at that. Just the right amount of stretch to fit perfectly but not a baggy knee (or bum) in sight. I have them in this indigo colour and also black. They are fab!
I picked up this little jacket in the sale in Fat Face when we were in Ambleside last week. (More on our holiday to The Lake District in a later post we had the most amazing time!) Anyway, I spotted this jacket and thought it would be perfect for autumn and it really is. It’s in a lightweight quilted material so it’s basically like wearing a mini duvet on the school run. Perfect. I love the print though it reminds me of the gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana porcelain prints that were around this summer (and that I could only dream of owning! Ha!)
The shoes are my gorgeous fisherman style shoes from Clarks that I reviewed here for Shoetique if you want to read more about them. They are somewhere in between a sandal and a shoe so perfect for this inbetweeny weather. I had forgotten how ridiculously comfy they are too! I must admit that I’m a bit sad to have put my toes away so soon though. I’m sure we normally get to wear sandals for a little longer?
So that was me, what have you been wearing this week? Are you back to school and back in your mummy uniform?
