Designed in collaboration with the team at Skinnydip, the box comes in two beautiful shades which have then in turn inspired this Skinnydip co-branded holographic foiled phone case which is exclusive to Birchbox. This month as part of a new initiative, BIRCHBOX PLUS, subscribers can add this phone cover on to their Birchbox for an additional and exclusive price of £4. The actual value of the phone cover would normally be £12 so you are getting a bargain to boot.

So what is in the box I hear you cry? It’s a good one! First of all we have Living Proof Restore Instant Repair Cream which I am dying to try. This lightweight formula helps to seal split ends and strengthen tresses for soft, shiny hair. Next we have Lord & Berry Silhouette Neutral Lip Liner making smudged lippy and wobbly lines a thing of the past. Best of all, its translucency means that you can use it with any shade of lipstick. Then we have REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial which works its magic while you are sleeping leaving your skin refreshed and radiant upon waking. I adore REN products I don’t think I have ever tried one that I didn’t instantly love so it’s always a treat when they pop up in my Birchbox.

Next we have Trilogy Make Up Be Gone Balm which is perfect to be used as part of a hot cloth skin routine. The balm has a nourishing blend of mango butter, rosehip and coconut oils that remove even the most stubborn waterproof make-up. Then we have the lovely beauty treat of English Laundry Notting Hill Femme Eau de Parfum which is a Birchbox exclusive. It is a lovely fresh scent blending fruity notes of mandarin and cassis with hints of warm wood and vanilla. I love it! And last but by no means least we have Cowshed Cow Pat Hand Cream in a really generous sample size. This cheekily named hand lotion is packed with rejuvenating essential oils, with grapefruit to uplift and coriander to soothe, leaving skin moisturised and toned. A perfect treat at this time of year. Each box also includes an exclusive £10 voucher for for orders over £24. My teenage daughter has spent it already! Ha!

All current Birchbox subscribers will receive this Skinnydip box and if you are a new subscriber, you can receive this box providing you sign up before 30th November 2015. As always, it costs just £10 + £2.95 P&P each month which I think is amazingly good value. As you can see, the value of the product samples you receive is much greater and besides, it’s such a lovely treat each month. Birchbox day has become my favourite day of the month! Subscribers and new customers can also shop all products at full size in the Birchbox shop.

Disclaimer: For the purpose of this review I was very kindly sent the press samples shown here but all opinions are of course my own. I only ever promote brands that I truly love and I really really really love Birchbox!

Sadly I was very dissapointed with mine. I feel like there was a lot of false advertising in the fact that the only skinnydip related thing was a phonecase that you had to pay extra for. Our review blogs are very different. That being said, I wouldn’t mind your box. I think the press boxes always have the best items in, it’s good promo.
Really enjoyed your blog though, it’s always good to read other people’s views x

You’re not the first person I’ve heard say that unfortunately. Maybe the box could have included a little Skinnydip something like one of their stickers? Rather than the having to opt in for the extra of the case? I do know that the guys over at Birchbox really do welcome feedback like this so thanks for commenting x
