We were sent this amazing new Barbie Dance & Spin Ballerina doll to review. My seven year old was so excited having already seen the adverts for this on tv!

Dance the day away with this Barbie twirling ballerina doll that brings performance and possibilities to life! You control the choreography, choosing when the beautiful prima ballerina spins. Simple and magical, the mechanism is really easy to work. You just clip the pink wand adorned with a fairytale icon to the waist of the doll, press down and Barbie bends into a classic plié. Her body then spins gracefully causing her skirt to float and flow. It has been designed with a layer of blue and a sheer pink overlay with blue glittery sparkles and the effect is show-stopping! A sparkling blue and pink ombre bodice and pink toe shoes complete the gorgeous look. Barbie even has a removable tiara to take her from rehearsal to performance, from princess to prima ballerina and everywhere in between because with Barbie, anything is possible!

This is such a great doll we absolutely loved it. It’s so easy to use and the little wand can not only be used to make Barbie spin but it is also great for just holding Barbie up while dancing and playing. It would be such a great addition to any Barbie collection. I have to say that with three girls over sixteen-ish years, we have amassed quite an army of Barbie dolls but I love that there is always room for one more. Especially a dancing and spinning one of course! It is recommended for ages 3+ and the wand is so easy to use that even heavy handed younger children could make her spin away it isn’t in the least bit fiddly.
