What I Wore: The Zara Bow Edition

It’s Wednesday..

..so it’s what I wore

What I Wore (Mostly) Yummy Mummy Blog

Blouse with velvet bow – Zara, black skinny jeans – Gap, watch – Michael Kors, black Coachella boots – c/o Air and Grace

This is a new and such a simple outfit but I love it. I always lust after the Victoriana type blouses in Zara but they usually have high necks which I just can’t do. Just trying them on makes me feel like I’m being strangled! So when I spotted this, I couldn’t resist. It is made from really floaty delicate material but the shorter length means that you don’t drown in it. I love the little frilled collar with the velvet bow and the puffed long sleeves it just feels so feminine. I’ve toughened it up today with my black skinnies and beloved Air and Grace Coachella boots but I think it would look amazing with a midi skirt too.

I have to say though that Zara isn’t what it used to be. When I bought this I noticed that the button fastening at the back looked a bit dodgy on all of them. It’s only a tiny button but the loop seemed too small. So it didn’t surprise me when it popped off after a morning of wearing it. I should probably take it back really but I think the problem is with the actual design if that makes sense? I’ll just have to have a go at fixing it myself. Either that or carry on fastening it with the safety pin that it currently holding it together! Ha!

So that was me, what have you been wearing this week?
