Question Everything up for review

Question Everything make the most beautiful hand-smocked dresses for babies and girls from 0-3 months up to age 8 years. It was started in 2010 by Angie Adams out of a love for children, clothes, fun, fabric, music, badges, buttons, shapes and stars. The designs draw inspiration from Angie’s experience of different cultures and lifestyles: loud music and quiet health, east meets west, street markets and changing weathers, textures, colours and cityscapes.

Question Everything believes in an ethics based approach to trade and aims to support local communities with production operating out of a family run business in Manila and smocking hand stitched by ladies of the Batangas village community.  A percentage of each sale goes to Childhope Asia which seeks to support and secure justice for street and working children in the Philippines.

The dresses are 100% cotton and hand smocked. I love the traditional design while the modern prints keep the dresses looking fun and cool. The little quirky buttons and star on the chest certainly make them stand out in a crowd. They are fully lined with a sash waist band and you’ll be pleased to know that they pass my daughters’ all important twirl test. They are very particular about twirlability don’t you know!

They really are beautifully made dresses and have washed and ironed beautifully so they are also very practical too. The thing that I think I love the most is though is just how versatile they are. Add sparkly tights and a tiara and you have yourself the perfect party dress, or layer with leggings and pull on your baseball boots and you have a cool everyday dress. They couldn’t be more perfect for my little ones. I absolutely love these dresses and I also love the passion and ethics behind the Question Everything brand. I will definitely be back to buy more.

My nine year old is wearing the Tokyo dress in age 8-9 which is just £30.99 in the current sale and my seven year old is wearing the Stella dress in age 7-8 which is also in the sale right now for just £30.99 too.

They are beautiful and what a great ethos behind them too. I’m now wondering if I could persuade my very boyish Cheeky Chap to wear one… 😉
