Made by Riley was created with the ethos of building a clothing brand that gives back. They are a London based fashion brand who have created a high quality and contemporary collection. With the sale of every item, they will donate 20% of the profit to their partnered charities which so far has included Human Rights Watch, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Action Aid & Zamcog, with the goal of working with many more.
Made By Riley is honored to be collaborating with the NSPCC for the latest collection. They are also thrilled to announce a partnership with Maggie’s, a charity which provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer. with a percentage of the Made by Riley profit going to each of the individual organizations. The new collection of loungewear, which sits beside the charity pieces, consists of staple products with a feminine edge. They’ve experimented with textures and shapes, involving box cuts with delicate transfers and stitched design. Quality and comfort are of utmost importance and this line is designed to suit every kind of style.
I was sent this gorgeous motif sweater and it was so soft and snuggly that I couldn’t resist putting it on the minute it arrived. I love the soft blue marl colour and the love heart motif. The sweater itself has a lovely deep waistband and cuffs and it really is the softest sweatshirt I have ever owned. I have it tucked up worn with a shirt underneath in this picture but it is actually a low hip length. It is made from a lovely thick cotton material with a nice relaxed fit but without being too bulky. I’m wearing a medium here which is a UK10 and as you can see, it is still lovely and slouchy. The ultimate sweater – I never want to take it off!
You can see the latest collection from Made By Riley here and there is a great range of sweaters from around £90 and tees starting at £40. I particularly love some of the slogan sweatshirts they are so cute! No doubt I will be back to buy more! I do love the ethos behind this company though. Made By Riley is an ethically designed brand and it is not often that you come across a fashion company that give back to others less fortunate. I think they are doing an amazing job not only in creating beautiful clothes but also supporting so many great charities.
Disclaimer: For the purpose of this post, I was very kindly sent the sweater shown from Made By Riley but all opinions are of course my own
