I was sent this amazing box of joy from my friends over at The Cracker Drinks Co. Yummy drinks and cocktail recipes to try as well as a whole host of beauty treats for me to enjoy a night in on them. What can I say, it really made my day!
Now while the pampering treats really were a lovely treat for this busy mama, it was the Cracker juices that were the real star of the show for me. I have tried (and loved) other flavours from The Cracker Drinks Co before but I have never had either of these ones before. I was sent the Still & Cloudy Lemonade and the Apple, Raspberry & Sloe.
With the Still & Cloudy Lemonade we had a go at making a Strawberry and Mint Lemonade. We muddled three strawberries in the base of the glass until it was smooth, added some fresh mint leaves then muddles again. Then we simply topped it up with Cracker Cloudy Lemonade and gave it a stir. Holy moly this truly tasted like a summer’s day. It was so fresh and oh so delicious.
Now I was also sent the instructions of how to make a Raspberry Fizz but it didn’t quite happen. You see, it turns out that the Apple, Raspberry and Sloe juice tastes pretty amazing just as it is out of your favourite flamingo glass with a straw… Yes, that’s right, this cheeky monkey polished off the lot before mummy got to make cocktails with it! Ha!
(If you wanted to have a go though, you just need a couple of teaspoons of raspberry puree in the bottom of your champagne glass, add a good slug of the Cracker Apple, Raspberry and Sloe then top up with champagne. You can garnish with raspberries if you’re feeling extra fancy!)
As you can see, these juices from The Cracker Juice Co were a huge hit (with the little and big people here!) I have to say that I love the range of flavours they really do have some cracking flavour combinations going on whether you want to use them to come up with amazing cocktails, or enjoy them just as they are. Look out for them in a chiller cabinet near you!
