Out with the old and in with the new! Their Nibs has had a spring clean, shaking up 2016 with a fresh new approach to vintage inspired design for children. I have to say that I was a huge fan of Their Nibs back in the day so I was thrilled to see their return. Not only are they back but they are better than ever! Hoorah!
Their Nibs’ 2016 collection takes a contemporary approach to vintage, combining functional stylish shapes with vintage inspired nostalgic prints. The collection calls upon Their Nibs’ Notting Hill roots with pretty but practical day dresses, luxurious occasion wear perfect for flower girls or parties; and colourful printed nightwear for girls and boys. Their Nibs signature hand designed prints are created by their own team of talented British artists.
We were sent these two beautiful dresses to review. Style meets comfort with this trapeze style shift dress which is just perfect for spring days. The little three quarter length sleeves and loose fit make it really practical and I love that it can be paired with tights now while it is still a bit chilly but can also be worn with bare legs in the summer months. It is really important to me that my girls’ clothes can be worn across the seasons especially when in this country it sometimes feels like we can have all four seasons in one day!
As you can see, we were sent the same bohemian design trapeze dress in two very different prints. The vibrant paisley print is hand selected by a small team of talented British designers in burnt orange, crimson and turquoise. While the vibrant Aztec floral print is hand painted in a striking hot pink, warm purple and powder blue stripe design. Both dresses are 100% cotton voile are are machine washable.
Each priced at £35 I think they are exceptionally good value for what is such a beautifully made dress. It is so nice to see that Their Nibs certainly haven’t forgotten their loyal customers and are offering designer-style dresses at such a purse friendly price!
Oh, and Their Nibs have also announced that they are going to launch a whole new range of home wear and also a ladies nightwear collection this spring so keep your eyes peeled for that. I know I will be! If the new range of childrens wear is anything to go by then we will be in for a real treat!
Disclaimer: For the purpose of this review I was kindly provided with these two dresses from their Nibs but all opinions are of course my own. Their Nibs is a brand that I truly love and I am thrilled to be able to collaborate with them on this post.
