..so it’s what I wore (but with a bit of a challenge)
You see, the lovely people over at House of Fraser challenged me to take part in the #mystylemydress project. They chose this gorgeous Vero Moda dress for me and the challenge was for me to style it in my own individual way.
It’s a really lovely dress and the plain jersey style makes it so versatile. It could easily be dressed up or down with the right accessories but if you a regular reader then you will know that I am all about the day dress. So for me, it was calling out to be kept quite simple to fit in with my normal every day style. A typical day for me normally starts with herding children on the school run then home to write and catch up on chores but often with a wander to the shops or out for lunch somewhere in the middle. I don’t do scruffs but I do do casual and for me, a dress like this ticks all of my boxes.
The Vero Moda dress is a soft grey colour (it comes in black too I believe) and it has a loose boxy shape with wide sleeves. I love the loose fitting style and it is shaped so that it is slightly longer at the back creating a really flattering shape. It is maybe a little shorter than I would normally choose for myself but actually teamed with black opaques I think it looks fab. I kept my accessories really quite simple and went for some of my absolute favourites with the Links sweetie bracelet and my Tiffany bean necklace. And I finished it off with my Asos kitty shoes (that never fail to make Mr Mostly to shake his head!)
So that was me! How would you style this dress? Oh and I just want to finish by saying a huge thank you to the lovely people over at House of Fraser for asking me to take part in the #mystylemydress project and for providing me with this lovely Vero Moda dress I love it! I have had so much fun taking part!
