Baby Annabell up for review

My youngest two are baby doll mad and have been since they were babies themselves! If there is one game that they go back to playing again and again together then it is definitely mummies and daddies. Although there are often fall outs about who gets to be the mummy or the daddy, there is now no contest over who gets to play the baby since their new Baby Annabell arrived!

We have had lots of baby dolls over the years but none quite like this Baby Annabell from Zapf Creation she is brilliant. She requires batteries (that are not supplied) and is fully interactive. I don’t think that we have ever had one doll that does so much. She comes complete with some lovely little accessories and is wearing a really cute outfit. My daughter especially loves that she looks like a real baby and is a lifelike size.

So what does Baby Annabell do? Well, it might be easier to say what she doesn’t do! She gurgles and laughs when you cuddle her, slurps on her bottle which can be used with water and much to the amusement of my daughter, burps to let you know when she is all done. She sucks on her dummy and her little mouth actually moves like a real baby it’s so clever! But it’s not all fun and games, rather like a real baby she can cry too and even has real tears. My daughter’s favourite thing of all though is that you can rock her to sleep and she whimpers away like a real baby before drifting off into the land of nod and snores away. So cute! And so much fun!

Baby Annabell was a huge hit with both of my little girls they absolutely love her. Priced at £49.99 she might not be the cheapest of baby dolls but I think she is worth every penny. This really is a high quality toy that I can see lasting for years to come and I was so impressed with just how many features they have managed to pack into one doll. Obviously we have had interactive dolls before but I don’t think that we have had one that does quite as much or looks quite as realistic. She really does look and feel like a real baby. Well, without the stinky nappies. Which is no bad thing really! Ha!

This Baby Annabell gets a huge thumbs up from me and my girls!
