Finding Dory ROBOFish up for review

Everyone’s favourite forgetful fish is back at last for Finding Dory and now you can take Dory and her friend’s home with you for your very own underwater adventure as ZURU launch their ROBOFish collection inspired by Disney Pixar’s box office record holder film. We were sent a Finding Dory ROBOFish to review here on my blog and it is safe to say that she has been a huge hit with my little ones.

The thing that I found really astonishing is that this ROBOFish swims just like a real fish. In fact, so much so that it was really quite difficult to capture a good photo of it so I do apologise for that! You simply drop Dory into the water and watch her swim, swishing her tail from side to side whilst exploring their aquatic environment just like the film. It really can swim around in circles and intuitively knows when to turn etc it is so clever.

Thanks to ZURU’s innovative technology it has a power save mode and automatically switches off after one minute to save battery power. You can just tap the side of the tank to reawaken your fish. When you remove the fish from the water it automatically stops, ready to be stored away for their next underwater adventure.

As well as Dory there is also Nemo, Marlin and Bailey characters to collect as well as a Marine Life Institute Playset. The ROBOFish is priced at just £9.99 which I think is great value for such a fun toy but that also includes a spare set of batteries too. We haven’t actually been to see Finding Dory at the cinema yet, have you? (I’m saving it for a rainy day treat at some point in the summer holidays!) I’m sure that once we have seen it though, my daughters will want to collect all of the other characters too!

ROBOFish Dory and the other characters are available from all good toy shops now.
