This month, British stationery brand Papier have designed two gorgeous boxes for Birchbox each filled with a personalised selection of beauty treats that are guaranteed to help you express yourself this February.
I received the green leaf print design as you can see and it is absolutely gorgeous. It is the drawer style box again this month which I find so handy for reusing. Inside you will also find a very special discount code for 25% off your next order at papier.com.
One of the things that I love about Birchbox is that there is always a great mix of not only beauty products but also hair care and make-up too and this month’s box is a perfect example of that I think. There are also two – yes TWO – full size items this month. It really is a goody!
So first of all we have the POP Beauty Bright Up Your Life Eyeshadow Trio in Champagne Mocha. I honestly couldn’t have picked a more perfect palette for me, the colours are just dreamy. You can go full on smokey eye with the three silky shades or just apply your favourite for a neutral wash of colour. Next is the Beaver Professional Daily Moisture Conditioning Spray that you simply mist on to damp hair, massage in, then style as normal. This hardworking herbal blend detangles and nourishes frazzled hair and injects moisture in a flash. (It also smells lush!) Then we have the Spectrum Collections Marbelous CO6 Tulip Eye Contour Brush which is a full size product. This is the only brush you need to perfect your eye make-up. I don’t know if you can see from the photo but the brush is tapered so it can be used for blending, smudging and defining. I am a big fan of Spectrum brushes so I was really pleased to see this inside this month’s box!
Now the Keeome Hydration Mask Therapy is a Birchbox Exclusive and a full sized sample. Korea is said to be seven years ahead of the rest of the world in terms of beauty innovation so I’m very excited to try this skincare treat. It is a sheet mask that revitalises skin in minutes thanks to a hydrating blend of vital vitamins and mulberry extracts that sink straight into tired complexions. And last but by no means least is the Show Beauty Premiere Dry Shampoo which comes in the most beautiful packaging. I am a complete sucker for pretty packaging what can I say. I am also a complete sucker for dry shampoos. How did we ever live without them? Anyway, this is nothing short of a miracle worker and has natural tapioca powders and rice starch to absorb oils and remove impurities while botanical extracts add shine and condition.
As always, you can subscribe to Birchbox the UK’s number one beauty box for just £10 a month (plus £2.95 p&p) and for that you will get five personalised beauty treats. This months box really is a corker with the Korean skincare treat plus two full size samples. Plus if you sign up now, you will get a free full size Smith & Cult Lip Lacquer worth £21! Go on, treat yourself! Or somebody else maybe?
