This month, Birchbox have partnered with Oliver Bonas – the independent British lifestyle brand that’s all about great design and fresh thinking, encouraging you to embrace the theme of word hard, play hard and be kind. That’s all I ever ask of my kids but a lot of grown ups could do with taking this advice too, non? What more could you ask of anyone in life.

Right, on to the beauty treats. Each and every one has been chosen to work super hard for you this month while you sit back, relax and have fun in keeping with the word hard, play hard and be kind theme. It is an absolute corker of a box this month I have to say! So first up we have Manna Kadar Fantasy 3-in1 Blush, Highlighter and Eyeshadow which is a full size product and also a Birchbox exclusive. When you’re seeking an instant glow, this pearlised powder really delivers. The champagne pink shade provides the perfect pop of colour to eyes and cheeks. Next we have the Arrow Boost Color Enhancing Lip Balm which is another full size product and Birchbox exclusive. This high-tech balm adjusts to your unique pH to create the perfect just-for-you hue. Plus it contains mango seed butter to hydrate and protect lips while you’re on the go I love it!

Then we have the Polaar Icy Magic Instant Eye Contour Energiser which is packed with brightening ginseng to tone and rejuvenate your under eye area in a flash. Next is the Dr Paw Paw Original Clear Balm which is a true multi-tasker. The star ingredient of this UK made balm is fermented pawpaw – a fruit with naturally healing ingredients. You can use this balm wherever you need a moisture boost anywhere from split ends to sunburn, lip balm or a skin moisturiser. And last but by no means least we have the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm which is one of my all time favourite beauty products. It is the best cleanser I have ever used and I always go back to it. It is a solid balm that transforms into a silky oil upon contact with your skin and it literally melts away the day. It removes make-up (including even the most stubborn of mascara) dirt and sunscreen and leaves your skin feeling super clean and soft. It’s non-greasy, non-drying and suitable for all skin types. I am yet to meet anyone who has tried it and not loved it!

Pamper yourself with five personalised beauty treats each month with Birchbox subscriptions starting from just £10 (plus £2.95 p&p) Every subscriber will receive the Manna Kadar multi-purpose make-up in September and if you sign up now, you can also get a free surprise product. There is no contact and you can cancel at any time with the monthly option. It’s a great way to discover new brands and products each month and you can even buy products from the Birchbox shop. What’s not to love?
