Feeling good with Birchbox this October

October 2017 Birchbox up for review by top Uk blogger Mostly Yummy Mummy

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Birchbox are delighted to be working with CoppaFeel! – the amazing charity with a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer. To help fight the good fight, you will find a CoppaFeel! Shower Hijack sticker inside every single box this month so you know exactly what signs to look and feel for while checking your boobs in the shower.

This October is all about championing the theme of ‘feeling good’ so Birchbox have included a box of tricks that will do just that. So, let’s take a look at the rest of the box:

Feeling good with Birchbox this month as seen on top UK blog Mostly Yummy Mummy

First up is the ModelCo Contour Stick as a treat to help update your make-up bag for the season ahead. This month every subscriber got to pick either a contour stick or mascara. This contour stick has a lightweight texture and can be used to accentuate your cheekbones and define your favourite features. Next is the Anatomicals Grab Your Melons Shower Gel which is a Birchbox exclusive and a full size product. This zesty body wash cares for your skin and uplifts your mood and while you are lathering up, take five minutes to coppafeel with the help of your shower hijack sticker. A great little tie-in with this months theme of course but far from being just a gimmick, it is also a really great product.

Then we have the full size ecoTOOLS Colour Perfecting Minis which can be used wet or dry to help expertly blend in concealer and colour correcting formulas with ease and precision. Next is the Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash which is one of my favourite cleansers. It cleans away make-up and grime without stripping your face of moisture. And last up is the Benefit POREfessional Pearl Primer which I am really excited to try as I love the original POREfessional primer but this new formula contains an added dose of soft pearly pink pigment to give a brighter, smoother, more awake complexion.

I like this months box it feels like a really good mix of make-up, body and skincare. That’s one of the things that I love about Birchbox full stop though. It always feels like you get a bit of everything rather than some subscription boxes that I’ve tried that seem more heavy on make-up or skincare or vice versa. I like a bit of everything if that makes sense.

As always, you can subscribe to Birchbox for just £10 (plus £2.95 p&p) per month so what are you waiting for? If you sign up now, you can also get a free rose gold Spectrum Collections brush when you order your October box!

P.S. A little birdy told me that next month Birchbox are teaming up with VOGUE and the beauty treats are all going to be handpicked from the Vogue 100 Beauty Hall of Fame which have been chosen by Vogue Beauty Editors past and present! Squeak!

*For the purpose of this review I have been kindly provided with a press sample of this months Birchbox but I would never recommend a product or service that I didn’t hand on heart truly love (and I hand on heart truly love Birchbox!)
