This month Birchbox are delighted to have teamed up with VOGUE to bring you a box packed with the best that the beauty industry has to offer. They have handpicked the products that they think you will love from the Vogue 100 Beauty Hall of Fame – including a Benefit Hoola brozer for everyone!
For Vogue’s centenary celebrations in 2016, the beauty team created an edit of the 100 greatest beauty products of all time. This exciting partnership with Birchbox brings together a whole selection of products that appeared on the list. First of all can we take a minute to admire the box itself? I love it! Now to take a look at what is inside.
First up we have the Benefit Hoola which is in every box this month. The one thing that sets this bronzer apart from all the rest is that it is a pure matte colour. This bronzing powder has no hint of sparkle or shine so you can acheive a year round sun kissed radiance without any telltale shimmer. Next is the Percy & Reed Smoothed, Sealed & Sensational Voluminising No Oil Oil which nourishes tired hair as you would expect from an oil but also strengthens and protects against heat styling. I absolutely love this stuff so was really pleased to see it in this months box.
Then we have the James Reed Gradual Tan Sleep Mask Tan Mask which has an innovative formula to hydrate overnight while leaving a subtly sun kissed glow. It goes on clear so there is no mess promise! Next is the L’Occitane en Provence Shea Hand Cream that comes in a squeezy tube so you will get out every last drop. Perfect for popping in your handbag this cream is really rich but fast absorbing to heal even the most hard working of hands. And finally we have the Birchbox Brush Cleaner which is a full size product and a Birchbox exclusive. Now I have to confess that on first inspection I thought this was some sort of exfoliating tool but no, it is a brush cleaner! This nifty little tool is designed to take the mess and hassle out of brush cleaning and I suspect it is one of those things that I’ll soon wonder how I ever managed without one.
Also inside this months Birchbox is a complimentary voucher for 6 issues of VOGUE which can be redeemed against the purchase of a one year or two year subscription. This couldn’t actually have come at a better time for me as I pay for a subscription to VOGUE for my teen and it ran out last month without me realising. Can you believe she had to go to a shop to actually buy this months magazine? You just can’t get the staff these days. Anyway, I will definitely be making the most of this offer and getting all the mummy points!
As always, you can subscribe to Birchbox for just £10 (plus £2.95 p&p) per month so what are you waiting for? If you sign up now, you get a FREE Cargo Cosmetics Sunset Beach Blush when you order your November box.
*For the purpose of this review I have been kindly provided with a press sample of this months Birchbox but I would never recommend a product or service that I didn’t hand on heart truly love (and I hand on heart truly love Birchbox!)
