This month Birchbox* are championing the importance of me time and the art of self-care. Mindfulness is all about being fully in the moment, pulling free from the pressure to always push harder and strive for perfection. And the first step to that is taking the time to sit back and relax with five beauty treats picked to help you look and more importantly feel great.

So, what’s inside my March Birchbox? First up is the Glamglow Supermud Clearing Mask Treatment which as the name suggests is a super combo of activated charcoal and a blend of 6 acids. Apply a thin layer to clean skin and leave up to 20 minutes while it does its magic to unclog your pores. Next is the Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray which is a 2-in-1 formula that works on wet or dry hair to create natural beachy waves. Just spray on and work through your hair for a tousled finish. Then we have the Blaq Hydrogel Eye Mask which I am dying to try. You pop these pads below each eye and leave for up to 15 minutes, letting the activated charcoal detox and de-puff congested under eyes then gently peel off to reveal bright well rested peepers.

Next is the much anticipated Benefit BADgal BANG! Volumising Mascara which is a sample size (but a generous one at that!) This new thickening mascara has a gravity defying formula to deliver volume with lightweight lift in every swipe. I have never tried a Benefit mascara that I didn’t like to be honest and this is the bees knees as I had hoped! And last up is the Nuxe Reve de Miel Body Scrub that uses sugar crystals and rice grains to gently exfoliate dull skin and reveal your natural radiance. It smells amazing to boot I love Nuxe products.

Also inside this months box is a special code for a shop voucher up to £25 when you order from The Birchbox Shop. The more you shop, the more you earn and you can use this offer with your Birchbox Benefits discounts and get free delivery too (please note: this offer is only valid for active subscribers!) I love this months Birchbox it makes me want to lock myself away in the bathroom for an hour (or two) and enjoy a real pampering.
