As part of the Hasbro Toy Tribe* we get to try out all the latest toys to review here on my blog. This month we have been sent this new Disney Princess Magical Movers Rapunzel and my youngest daughter was more than happy to help me put it to the test!
The Magical Movers bring exciting movement to your favourite Disney princesses. We were sent the Rapunzel doll which comes complete with her golden hair base. You simply put Rapunzel on to the base and pull the string ‘to charge’ the doll. Then you place it on a hard flat surface to see her twirl and twirl. It was quite tricky to capture a photo as it really does spin and spin! I must add as well that it really does have to be a flat surface for the doll to be able to balance, this isn’t a toy that you can just play with anywhere. If the surface isn’t completely flat then the doll stops spinning and topples over.
The toy does not require batteries so is ready to play with straight away which is always a bonus. There are other dolls to collect too including Ariel, Jasmine and Cinderella plus playsets including a ballroom, magic carpet ride, pony and stable. You are quite limited with what you can do with one doll and even though the Rapunzel is fun I do think that it would be much better if you also had other dolls and playsets to play with too.
With the dolls priced at around £7.99 each though it is a very collectable toy and this Rapunzel doll would be a great place to start. The larger playsets are around £15.99 so not too expensive as they include the set and accessories as well as a doll.
Disney Magical Movers Rapunzel is available from all good toy shops now priced at around £7.99.
