Num Noms Series 5 up for review

We were so excited to get our mitts on the new Num Noms Series 5 to review* here on my blog. My youngest daughter is Num Noms mad so she couldn’t wait to see what crazy new flavours there would be. One of the good things about Num Noms is that the packs come in different sizes from pocket money sized reveal pots to much larger sets. We were sent a great range of the new Series 5 collection which included the scented Num Noms croissant set, lights mega set and the mini pot.

The Num Noms Series 5 Croissants is the perfect starter pack and costs around £10. I think that this is great value as it includes 3 scented Nums (and they really do smell delicious!) 1 flavoured lip gloss Nom, tongs, a food tray and the collectors menu. You can mix and match the croissants to create sweet, scented recipes. We had Berry Bella, Caramel Croissant and Birthday Bernadette.

The Num Noms Lights Mega Mystery Pack costs around £20 but as you can see, it really is a large set. The Num Noms come in a large ‘ice cube tray’ that can be used to play with or even display your collection. It’s really sturdy so perfect for storage. There are 9 scented Nums, 3 light up Noms and 3 ring bases. The light up Noms can be used on the ring bases and they are really bright! Two of the characters can be seen from the box but the other ten you have to open up to reveal what is inside which my daughter loved!

Finally we have the Num Noms Series 5 Mystery Pot which costs around £6 so makes a great pocket money treat. It’s nice that you can add to your collection with these little pots plus you get the excitement of the mystery reveal to see which one you get. Inside you will find either a nail polish or lip gloss and we were lucky enough to get this cute Pineapple Polish-It and a wrap around character band. My daughter was over the moon because she has never had a nail polish one before.

For those of you not in the know, Num Noms are cute little stackable collectibles and the idea is that you make your own ‘recipe’ using stacks of the characters. There is a handy little guide to all of the flavours and their names inside each box and my daughter likes to tick off which ones she get and uses this to make swaps with her pals who collect them too. My daughter and her friends are collectible crazy!

Each new series has a new collection of flavours and this new one includes croissants, jelly rolls, crepes, bread rolls, marble ice-cream and marshmallow squares. There are always rare special edition Num Noms to try and find too and the fun bit is in opening up your box to see what you might get. The normal Nums are scented then there are special nail polish, lip gloss and light-up Noms like you can see here. Whether you are looking to start or add to your collection, we think this new series is brilliant, the cuteness just keeps on stacking!

Num Noms Series 5 is available in all good toy shops now. You can find out more and see the full range at numnoms.com
