What I Wore: The Zara Midi Dress Edit

What I Wore: The Zara White Midi Dress Edition on Mostly Yummy Mummy Blog

It’s Wednesday, so It’s what I wore.

Except this was actually what I wore on Monday, a day of eye tests, errands and college enrolment. I just love this Zara Midi dress (as do the rest of the world according to Instagram although I am yet to see anyone else wearing it in the wild as it were!) Only I could hit the Zara sale and buy just about the only dress that hadn’t been reduced but I knew that if I didn’t snap it up soon it would be gone for good and would forever haunt me as The Dress That Got Away.

It is light and airy so perfect for the weather we are having right now. I mean seriously, this is what having a real summer must feel like?! But it manages to avoid looking like a sack while still keeping you cool. The skirt of the dress is lined too so makes the dress feel much more expensive than its £40 price tag. I did have to size up though to fit my boobs in. I always have problems with Zara clothes I swear they are designed for ironing boards not humans but I actually like the looser fit that gives the dress overall. Obviously if you are not as blessed/cursed as me in that department then you could wear the dress with a lovely nipped in waist like the beautiful young things of Instagram do. I actually like both looks.

I feel like I should apologise for the photo before I go, as I explained on Instagram it was taken hastily by the twelve year old post school run. If I can ever rope her into taking a photo for me, I literally get one click whether I am ready or not. One click. That’s it. And in this case whether or not the kid from next door is hanging out of the tree, never mind no warning that one of my buttons had come undone. The kid I could crop out but the button you’ll just have to ignore I’m afraid! I need to start bribing her with ice-cream or something, don’t I? Ha!

So that was me, what have you been wearing this week in this glorious sunshine?
